CORE VALUES
Our Team
Haiden Nelson | Certified Prosthetist
Haiden works with our patients hands on to evaluate their conditions and explain the prosthetic technology that is best suited for their lifestyles or occupations. Consulting with our senior practitioner, he designs each patient’s prosthetic limb with care and makes necessary adjustments until the patient feels stable and confident using it. He also follows up with patients to make sure their amputated limbs are healthy and provide needed maintenance on their prosthetics.
Haiden is a very gifted member of the team at Robard Bionics. He has strong spatial awareness and an intuition for human anatomy. These attributes have made him stand out among his colleagues as an exceptional prosthetics designer and a valuable addition to the team at Robard Bionics. Haiden earned his Masters of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from California State University, Domingus Hills (CSUDH). With a keen interest in the life improving advantages of new prosthetic technology, Haiden founded the Prosthetics and Orthopedics Leaders of Innovation organization at CSUDH - a group focused on researching and gaining hands on experience with new innovations in prosthetic technology.
Erika Cuculiza | Patient Care Coordinator
Erika coordinates between surgeons, healthcare representatives, and our prosthetists to make sure our patients are treated for the best possible outcome. She also educates our patients and their families about what to expect during the prosthetic care process. Once our patients have received their prostheses, she follows up with them on a consistent basis to ensure they have the support needed to maintain their mobility. Ultimately, Erika’s goal is to develop a caring relationship with the patient in which their questions are answered and their needs are met in a timely manner.
Taylor Navarro Clark | Head Lab Technician
Taylor works in our lab with our prosthetists to fabricate our patients’ prosthetic limbs. After 10 years working as a technician with the team at Robard Bionics, Taylor is exceptionally quick in his ability to build prosthetics. The efficient and precise building techniques that he has developed are a key reason we are able to deliver a patient’s prosthesis within 7-10 business after his or her physical evaluation. For Taylor, knowing that something he built changed somebody’s life is the most meaningful part of his work.
“Watching a patient live a better life, walking on something that I built with my own hands is a pretty cool feeling” - Taylor
